A Scoutmaster Conference is required for every rank. In a Scoutmaster conference, a Scout has an opportunity to ask questions, review how he's doing in the troop, set goals, and plan for further advancement. A Scout participates in a board of review after completing all requirements for a rank, including a Scoutmaster Conference. The review is conducted by members of the Troop Committee. The purpose of the board of review is to ensure that the Scout has completed the requirements, to determine the quality of the troop experience, and to encourage him to advance toward the next rank. |
