Troop 90 was formed in 1954 and has been in continuous operation for over 50 years!  With the strong support of parents and adult leaders, Scouts in Troop 90 are able to plan and participate in a wide variety of activities throughout the year.

Troop 90 is focused on the outdoors.  Camping opportunities occur nearly every month.  During the summer, Scouts of all ages can spend a week at Lefeber Northwoods Camps in northern Wisconsin.  At Lefeber, Scouts learn outdoor skills and may pursue a wide variety of activities like archeology, environmental science, and shotgun shooting under the guidance of Lefeber's knowledgeable staff. Older Scouts can find even greater challenge on a High Adventure trip.  High Adventure trips have included activities such as canoeing in the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota, whitewater rafting on the New River in West Virginia, and a week in the sun and sand at Laguna Station, on the Texas gulf coast.  Other activities throughout the year include hiking, biking, skiing, ice skating, professional sports events, and more.  Troop 90 Scouts have a lot of fun!

Troop 90 is focused on advancement.  Boys have the opportunity to work on advancement within their patrols, during troop meetings, on weekend campouts, and at summer camp.  Boy and adult leaders offer support along the way, to help keep Scouts on track.  What's more, Troop 90 takes advantage of district and council advancement opportunities such as the Voyager Trace District First Aid Meet, where the troop has taken first place on several occasions.

Troop 90 is focused on character.  Troop 90 Scouts practice community service and experience the kind of personal growth that comes from development of leadership skills and attention to Scouting's timeless values.  Click here to visit the BSA website to find out more about the aims of Scouting.

Boy Scout Troop 90 is sponsored by the Brook Park Council, a parent-teacher organization of School District 95
